The Health Tourism Development Center of Islamic Countries (HTDC) recently hosted its second online business networking meeting in the field of health and health tourism between African and Islamic countries on January 12, 2023, at 12:30 pm GMT. This meeting was an excellent opportunity for business leaders, investors, and professionals to connect, discuss, and explore new partnerships and collaborations in the health and wellness industry.
The meeting was attended by members of HTDC from various countries, including Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan, Tunisia, and Turkey. The event was conducted virtually, which allowed participants to join from the comfort of their homes or offices. Members of HTDC received a special code to join the meeting free of charge, making it more accessible for all members.
The meeting was opened by Dr. Mohammad Javad Alemzadeh Ansari, the President of HTDC. Dr. Sani Aliyu from Nigeria talked about the potential of medical tourism in Nigeria, highlighting the country’s vast resources in healthcare and medical expertise. He emphasized that the Nigerian government is committed to creating an enabling environment for medical tourism to thrive in the country.
Other speakers discussed topics such as the role of technology in health tourism, the importance of marketing and branding, and the need for standardization in the health tourism industry. The meeting also provided a platform for members to ask questions and share their experiences in the health tourism industry.
