Establishing a joint specialized HTDC accelerator in the field of health tourism in Tunisia

During the negotiation with H.E. Dr. Ali al-Marabat, Health Minister of Tunisia: H. E. Minister expressed his interest to develop international cooperation in the field of health and health tourism. During this meeting he also announced that the government of Tunisia is ready to support establishing a joint specialized accelerator in the field of health tourism in Tunisia, and also ready to host the 7th International Health Congress of Islamic Countries with aim of introducing Tunisia's special capacities in the related field.

Establishing a joint specialized HTDC accelerator in the field of health tourism in Tunisia

The Secretary General of Health Tourism Development Center of Islamic Countries in a meeting with the Tunisian Minister of Health stated:
The necessity of developing European and Islamic cooperation in the field of health and health tourism
Majid Zangooei, Secretary General of Health Tourism Development Center of Islamic Countries (HTDC) during a visit to Italy, Poland, Germany and Tunisia, beside visiting the capabilities of the countries in the field of health and wellness services, met with health tourism activists of those countries.
In an interview with reporters, Zangooei announced the coordination with organizations and organizations related to the health and health tourism of the mentioned countries to develop international cooperation with the aim of transferring experiences as well as defining joint business and investment.
In response to reporters’ questions about the content of the negotiations and the results, he said:
Decisions about the development of specialized international trainings, facilitating the participation of health tourism activists in Europe and Islamic countries, in events related to this field in different countries, establishing specialized accelerator in the field of health tourism in different countries such as Germany and Tunisia, holding a business networking meeting of European and Islamic health tourism activists at the sideline of related international events.
