Health Tourism Development Center of Islamic Countries (HTDC) has a mission to create convergence among “health” and “tourism” stakeholders in all 58 Islamic countries. As a non-governmental centre, HTDC considers a network of health tourism relations.
I believe that nations can create a lot of value in the context of tourism and health. Thanks to such an approach, politicians can also converge in such a direction.
Although the corona pandemic has changed people’s habits and caused them to become very distant. Gradually, countries are overcoming this crisis, and it seems that health tourism will continue to flourish.
Health tourism is re-establishing its valuable position in the context of new technologies in post-corona, and in the future, such collaborations will be brighter and more valuable than ever.
The main approach of this year’s congress is to focus on new technologies that have surrounded health tourism. Technologies that make remote sensing necessary in health tourism so that people do not have to go to medical centres for any issue.
We also emphasise strengthening startups to create the value chain in health treatment and tourism structures.
HTDC play a key role in the field of health tourism networking in Asia. Such an achievement is a source of pride that the efforts of the past few years are gradually bearing fruit.
Although EU countries have valuable experience in health tourism, interaction with Islamic countries to exchange knowledge and skills and bring nations closer together is inevitable.
The American and European participants in the 5th International Health Congress of Islamic Countries are significant. They have expressed interest in signing a memorandum of understanding in the fields of spa, hydrotherapy, and nature tourism, which shows that the markets of Islamic countries are pristine and accessible.
It is a pleasure that the 5th International Health Congress of Islamic Countries in Tehran has been effective in creating friendship, the closeness of beliefs and ideas.
